Meet Our Team
Frinet Kasper, DDS
Dr. Kasper received her dental degree from the Central University of Venezuela. She practiced for several years before moving to Ohio in 2005 to complete a general practice residency at Western Reserve Care System a major teaching hospital of the Northeastern Ohio University College of Medicine. Having completed her advanced education she relocated to Northern Virginia to continue to provide her caring values. She exercises a conservative dental philosophy for her patients and believes in educating them concerning treatments and dental health.
Dr. Kasper has enhanced her dental knowledge with a variety of continuing education courses including: implant placement and restoration, invisalign (invisible braces), sedation dentistry, and cosmetic and restorative procedures.
In her spare time Dr. Kasper enjoys spending time with her family and friends, traveling, and attending a variety of sporting and concert events.
Joseph Nassif DDS, MSc, FACP
Dr. Joseph Nassif has practiced in Alexandria since 1982. He received his DDS from the University of Maryland and his graduate prosthodontic specialty degree (MSc) from Ohio State University. After retiring from the USAF Dental Corps he became an associate professor at both Howard University and Georgetown University College of Dentistry.
Dr. Nassif is a member of several dental organizations, author of 30 scholarly publications, a textbook chapter and has given numerous lectures worldwide in prosthodontics and in temporomandibular disorders (TMD or TMJ).
Dr. Nassif includes dentistry in his hobbies and volunteering at a low income Northern Virginia Dental Clinic.
He enjoys being with family, golf, swimming, fishing, hunting, and traveling abroad. He is also the Director of the Annual West Virginia Chestnut Festival.
Claudia is a Rhode Island native and a graduate of the University of Rhode Island with a BS in Dental Hygiene. Among her credentials, she is also certified to administer local anesthetic and nitrous oxide. Claudia has enjoyed many rewarding years as a dental hygienist. Early in her career she worked with the Wood River Health Services in rural Rhode Island serving four local elementary schools and gathered dental statistics for the State Health Department. Through her efforts a weekly fluoride “swish” program was instituted in this underserved part of Rhode Island to improve oral health. Moving into private practice she honed her clinical skills with an emphasis in periodontal diagnosis and treatment. Claudia has the unique ability to communicate the importance of good oral health in a sincere caring manner and believes this is an important aspect of her position. Claudia has a variety of interests from vacationing in Italy to knitting, reading (historical fiction), gardening and cooking. She, her husband Fred and their two cats, Ted and Duke, lived in Boulder, CO prior to relocating to Virginia in 2002.
